 A stop-motion psychological comedy set in a run-down 1950s diner. Le Chara
 de follows the final performance of a lonely mime and the psychotic episod
 e that ensues after his imaginary friend breaks up with him and he is forc
 ed to re-enter society.\n\nThe film was produced in 30 weeks at the Savann
 ah College of Art and Design, written and directed by Erika Totoro as the 
 senior thesis for a team of 8 students. The film's use of 3D printing tech
 nology was an advancement for the College, setting a record of 55 face rep
 lacements, and making it one of the school's first to use stereolithograph
 y 3D printing technology for stop-motion filmmaking. The film also utilize
 s mixed media by creating digitally enhanced smear frames on the raw image
