Keiichi Zempo received BSc, MBA and Ph.D. in Eng. degrees from University of Tsukuba at 2008, 2010 and 2013, respectively. He worked on Center for Service Engineering, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology from 2013 to 2014. He is currently with University of Tsukuba as an associate professor.
He specializes in smart sensing and human interface, and has been conducting various applied research studies, including industrial and medical fields, using not only hardware measurement technology but also measurement of value and satisfaction in the service field and stereophonic sound and XR technology.
In recent years, he has been focusing on research on interaction technology in VR space, sound AR technology in real space, and human interaction that is not restricted by real physics, making full use of remote technology, in which names such as Umwelt manipulation and Harmonic interaction are involved.
