If you believe a paper is more appropriate for a specialized conference (or a poster) because of \u201cquality\u201d it should be rejected. The conference track is <strong>not<\/strong> a \u201clow-bar\u201d SIGGRAPH program. If a paper leaves you with a long list of desired experiments (perhaps defining \u201clong\u201d as 30% or more), it is more appropriate for the conference track. Therefore, there is a chance that you will be asked in the future to review such a resubmission, and may need your notes, marked manuscripts, or implementations. So you may keep them if necessary, but please be careful to insulate the ideas you learned from the review from your own research, and from your colleagues and students.
