 n"Bent Out of Shape" follows the story of a dull, square woman and her chi
 ld living in a dull, square world. However, when a bright, circular neighb
 or moves in next door, the square woman begins to feel that her lifestyle 
 is being threatened. Even worse, she worries that her child may be affecte
 d by the circular neighbor's influence...\n\nThis film is lighthearted, qu
 irky, and fun, but still carries more serious and important undertones in 
 its message. With "Bent Out of Shape," I hope to offer a new perspective o
 n how remaining close-minded and judgmental can affect the world around us
 . Not only is this film about overcoming prejudices, but it also focuses o
 n the issue of parents who may be overbearing in their attempts to control
  or shape their children. Through watching this film, viewers will hopeful
 ly have a chance to self-reflect as well as reflect on the world around th
