SUMMARY:Black Curtain: The Fear
DESCRIPTION:Computer Animation Festival\n\nRichard Shilling (Dikko!)\n\nBL
 ACK CURTAIN is a short CGI film about a young woman and small child who ar
 e running from a world bearing down on them -- trying to escape that which
  they fear the most. Will they succeed, or fall victim to it?\n\nThe goal 
 of this film was to create a captivating action set piece that whilst mini
 malist in its approach, could still deliver an incredibly unique and dynam
 ic style and compelling narrative. \n\nOn a visual front, the main goal wa
 s to produce a style of 3D animation that went against the grain of mainst
 ream animation content and to connect a bridge between traditional 2D anim
 ation techniques, the flat, geometric shape language seen in motion graphi
 cs and then merge that with the flexibility that comes from 3D animation.\
 n\nFor the majority of the production, open-source software, such as Blend
 er was used with the goal of proving that highly unique, quality film cont
 ent could be produced not only on a low budget, but by a single person, op
 ening up the possibility for anyone to create stories that can captivate a
