In this paper, we expound on "Ghost in th e Machine", an interactive installation that delves into the pervasive ten dency to anthropomorphize AI, ascribing human-like qualities, intentions, and even consciousness. Participants engage in dialogue with the AI as it collaboratively materializes the AI's thoughts in moving image and generat ive sound. The installation attempts to forge embodiment for an amorphous AI, revealing errors in its comprehension, represented by the metaphor of hallucinations.\n\nRegistration Category: Full Access, Enhanced Access, Tr ade Exhibitor, Experience Hall Exhibitor\n\nSession Chair: Victoria Szabo (Duke University) URL:https://asia.siggraph.org/2023/full-program?id=artpl_148&sess=sess207 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
