Recent works have shown that percep tual fidelity can be improved significantly by distributing pixel error as blue noise instead. Most such works have focused on static images, ignori ng the temporal perceptual effects of animation display. We extend prior f ormulations to simultaneously consider the spatial and temporal domains, a nd perform an analysis to motivate a perceptually better spatio-temporal e rror distribution. We then propose a practical error optimization algorith m for spatio-temporal rendering and demonstrate its effectiveness in vario us configurations.\n\nRegistration Category: Full Access\n\nSession Chair: Juno Kim (University of New South Wales) URL:https://asia.siggraph.org/2023/full-program?id=papers_234&sess=sess134 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
