We examine enhancem ents to the project-based learning (PBL) model previously presented. The w ork presented here analyses the application of learning experience design (LXD) techniques as a method to enrich PBL. Both works introduce and explo re educational methods applied to teaching and learning in the creative te chnologies space. We analyse the effectiveness of PBL augmented with LXD p hilosophies for instruction designed specifically for CGI, 3D animation an d visual effects subject matter. Our objective by employing these methods is to create an interactive, rich, and effective learning environment and provide educational solutions to further engage learners to development an d apply knowledge and skills in a PBL context. We examine the production o f a short film, Perilune as a case study on the effectiveness of LXD in en hancing learning. To conclude, we provide qualitative data measuring the s uccess of students engaged in these learning and teaching techniques.\n\nR egistration Category: Full Access, Enhanced Access, Trade Exhibitor, Exper ience Hall Exhibitor\n\n URL:https://asia.siggraph.org/2023/full-program?id=edu_118&sess=sess306 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
