SUMMARY:Reimagining Animation Making through Style Transfer
DESCRIPTION:Sujin Kim (Arizona State University)\n\n“Dissolution” and “Cun
 abula” are experimental animation projects that explore the potential of a
 rtistic style transfer with neural networks in filmmaking. The objective i
 s to discover novel production methods using a fast, arbitrary, and stroke
 -adjustable style transfer network that would allow for unconventional tec
 hnical approaches during the production process and the creation of unique
  and unexplored aesthetics in moving images powered by deep learning algor
 ithms. These projects demonstrate the creative approach to utilizing exist
 ing neural style transfer techniques to create compelling animated films t
 hat go beyond mere passive pastiches of certain artistic styles, thereby a
