In this paper, our goal is to dev elop a user interface that models Kandinsky’s analytical drawing process w ithin a computational context to advance research in artificial intelligen ce and the arts. A user first chooses a photograph from the ObjectNet3D da tabase, objects of which are aligned with the 3D shapes. Using the 3D shap e information, the software extracts 2D projection contours. Then, it perf orms corner detection and finds structural networks. Lastly, the software transforms the photograph into an abstract image based on a student exampl e.\n\nRegistration Category: Full Access, Enhanced Access, Trade Exhibitor , Experience Hall Exhibitor\n\nSession Chair: Victoria Szabo (Duke Univers ity, ACM)\n\n URL:https://asia.siggraph.org/2023/full-program?id=artps_123&sess=sess207 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
