In this paper, we expound on "Ghost in the Machine", an interactive installation t hat delves into the pervasive tendency to anthropomorphize AI, ascribing h uman-like qualities, intentions, and even consciousness. Participants enga ge in dialogue with the AI as it collaboratively materializes the AI's tho ughts in moving image and generative sound. The installation attempts to f orge embodiment for an amorphous AI, revealing errors in its comprehension , represented by the metaphor of hallucinations.\n\nRegistration Category: Full Access, Enhanced Access, Trade Exhibitor, Experience Hall Exhibitor\ n\nSession Chair: Victoria Szabo (Duke University, ACM)\n\n URL:https://asia.siggraph.org/2023/full-program?id=artpl_148&sess=sess207 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
