SUMMARY:Efficient Graphics Representation with Differentiable Indirection
DESCRIPTION:Sayantan Datta (McGill University, Meta Reality Labs); Carl Ma
rshall (Meta); Derek Nowrouzezahrai (McGill University, Meta); and Zhao Do
ng and Zhengqin Li (Meta)\n\nWe introduce differentiable indirection -- a
novel learned primitive that employs differentiable multi-scale lookup tab
les as an effective substitute for traditional compute and data operations
across the graphics pipeline. We demonstrate its flexibility on a number
of graphics tasks, i.e., geometric and image representation, texture mappi
ng, shading, and radiance field representation. In all cases, differentiab
le indirection seamlessly integrates into existing architectures, trains r
apidly, and yields both versatile and efficient results.\n\nRegistration C
ategory: Full Access\n\nSession Chair: Bo Ren (TMCC, College of Computer S
 cience, Nankai University)\n\n
