Yunyu is an award-winning composer/storyteller/music technologist. She is a graduate of the prestigious AFTRS (Australian Film Television and Radio School) , Graduate Diploma Screen Composition. Currently, she is a PhD candidate researching 6 degrees of freedom music under a joint scholarship with Dolby+University of Technology Sydney.
Yunyu's accolades include winning the Crystal Pine Award for Best Original Score at the International Sound & Film Music Festival. Recent work highlights include: commissions from Taikoz where she composed/programmed a real-time generated piece for the newly released Roland Taiko-1. She recently showcased her creations at Ars Electronica Festival 2023 in Linz, Austria.
