Juhan Nam is an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Culture Technology at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in South Korea. He received his Ph.D. in Music from Stanford University, where he studied at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). He also holds an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University. His research interests include the application of digital signal processing and machine learning to music and audio.
