Abhimitra Meka is a Senior Research Scientist at Google, working on digital human perception and modeling. Prior to that, he was visiting postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University. He graduated with a Doctorate of Engineering, with a thesis on 'Live Inverse Rendering', from the Max Planck Institute for Information and the Saarbruecken Graduate School of Computer Science at the Saarland University in Germany, advised by Prof. Christian Theobalt. He has also worked as an Engineer at Nvidia and GE. He also has degrees of Master of Technology in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, India, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from VIT Vellore, India.
