Ruizhen Hu is currently a Distinguished Professor of the College of Computer Science & Software Engineering at Shenzhen University and Deputy Director of the Visual Computing Research Center (VCC). She received her Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics at Zhejiang University. Before that, she spent two years visiting Simon Fraser University, Canada.
