I am an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Koç University. I’m also affiliated with KUIS AI Center. Prior to this, I was formerly affiliated with Hacettepe University, where I was one of the directors of the Computer Vision Lab. I received my PhD degree in Computer Engineering from METU in 2008. During my PhD studies, I spent a summer at Virginia Tech in 2004 and I was a visiting scholar at MIT during fall 2007. I did my postdoc at Ca’Foscari University of Venice in Italy with Marcello Pelillo.
