Kay Poh Gek Vasey is a technology lawyer turned entrepreneur focused on creating immersive and interactive experiences that promote climate and cultural literacy amongst youth and online communities. She has worked closely with the UN Environment Programme, Meta and Apple. In 2023, Kay spearheaded the development of "Sky Farm Island", the first vertical farming game set in Asia on Roblox, which serves to capture the essence of modern digital education and motivate children to cultivate and consume healthy produce. Additionally, she led the creation of "Aquasia", launched at the VR Gallery at ArtScience Museum in Singapore, a captivating metaworld which hopes to spark conversations and inspire young minds on the future of human habitats in the face of rising sea levels. Kay offers expertise and advocacy on XR creation & production; metaverse pedagogy; digital sustainability; digital transformation; and the future of art & creativity.
