Ungyeon Yang received his BS degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Chungnam National University, Daejeon, Republic of Korea in 1997. He received his MS and PhD degrees from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Republic of Korea in 2000 and 2003, respectively. Since 2003, he has been the principal researcher at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI). Since 2021, he has been a professor for the Information and Communication Technologies Major at the ETRI School, University of Science and Technology (UST). His research interests include wearable displays, information visualization, 3D user interfaces, human factors, haptics, multimodal user interactions in virtual/mixed reality, and ergonomics.
