Lana Sinapayen is an associate researcher (and founding member) of Sony Computer Science Labs’ new Kyoto Lab and an associate professor at the National Institute for Basic Biology in Japan. She researches Artificial Life and Artificial Intelligence. She is especially interested in finding which definitions of these concepts, 'Life' and 'Intelligence', are most useful to help us implement them inside artificial systems.
