He completed his Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering at Tokyo University of Science and a Master's in Engineering at Tohoku University in 2019. In 2022, he achieved a Ph.D. in Engineering from The University of Tokyo and currently holds the position of Project Assistant Professor at the Research Center of Advanced Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo. In 2023, he became involved in the Cybernetic Being project, supported by Japan's Moonshot R&D program, as a Project Assistant Professor. His primary research focuses on haptics and inter-subjective experiences. Beyond academia, he founded commissure Inc., a startup specializing in haptic technology.
